21st National Conference on Pervasive Computing (PCC 2025)

Since the 1990s, pervasive computing has evolved from a concept into a new computing paradigm built on advances in distributed systems, mobile computing, embedded devices, location services, and sensor technologies. It aspires to deliver always-on, everywhere, and invisible computing—with ubiquity, convenience, and adaptability at its core. Ubiquity refers to ubiquitous environmental sensing, pervasive network access, and diverse human–environment interactions; convenience denotes natural, effortless access to rich computational services; adaptability means systems perceive and adapt to changing contexts automatically. As an international academic forum, PCC 2025 invites researchers, designers, developers, and practitioners to submit original work and participate in discussions on the latest progress in design, development, deployment, evaluation, and understanding of pervasive computing systems.

Joint Conference

To foster broader exchange and raise quality, PCC 2025 will be held jointly with the 21st China Conference on Human–Computer Interaction (CHCI 2025) as part of the 21st Harmonious Human–Machine Environment Conference (CCF HHME 2025). Hosted by Dalian University of Technology, the event will take place August 21–25, 2025 in Dalian, China.

Paper Submission

  1. Submission Types & Requirements:
    • Regular Full/Short Papers, Extended Abstracts, and Invited Experience Papers are all accepted.
      – Regular Papers (8–10 pages for full, 4–6 pages for short; CCF double-column template). Only full papers are eligible for the Best Paper Award.
      – Extended Abstracts (1 page; English or Chinese). May be upgraded to full/short paper by June 30 to enter award competition.
      – Invited Experience Papers: Work published within the past year in top conferences or journals (e.g., ACM UbiComp/IMWUT, MobiCom, MobiSys, SenSys, IEEE PerCom, JSAC, TMC, TON). Select “Experience Paper” and upload proof of acceptance.
  2. Submission Portal:
All submissions via the CCF system: https://conf.ccf.org.cn/HHME2025/paper

  3. Papers that are finally accepted have the opportunity to be published in the Springer proceedings (EI indexed).
