21st China Conference on Human–Computer Interaction (CHCI 2025)
The field of human–computer interaction advances the design, implementation, and evaluation of interactive computing systems to enhance the exchange of information between people and digital technologies. Continuous innovation in HCI has transformed computing from a specialist tool to an indispensable part of daily life for billions of users. As a key element of national technology strategy, information innovation, and socioeconomic development, HCI research enjoys strong support from both academia and industry.
CHCI 2025 will be held jointly with the 21st Pervasive Computing Conference (PCC 2025) as part of the 21st Harmonious Human–Machine Environment Joint Conference (CCF HHME 2025), organized by the China Computer Federation (CCF) and co‐sponsored by its HCI, Pervasive Computing, and Collaborative Computing special interest groups. The event takes place August 21–25, 2025 in Dalian, China. We welcome researchers, designers, developers, and practitioners to submit their latest work, share insights on future trends, and foster close industry–academia collaboration in HCI.

Submission Types & Requirements
1. Full Papers
Submissions in English or Chinese are both accepted. • English manuscripts use the ACM CHI/IMWUT template. • Chinese manuscripts use the Journal of Computer Science template. Accepted full papers will be presented as posters at the conference.
2. Extended Abstracts
A forum for sharing work already published within the past year at major venues (e.g., ACM CHI, UIST, CSCW, IEEE VIS, SIGGRAPH, CVPR, etc.). Submitted abstracts are not included in the proceedings; indicate “Extended Abstract” upon submission.
3. Demonstrations
Showcase novel interactive technologies and user experiences. Submissions should include a demo video and a one-page description (no strict format).
4. Submission Portal
All submissions are handled via the CCF system: https://conf.ccf.org.cn/HHME2025/paper
Papers that are finally accepted have the opportunity to be published in the Springer proceedings (EI indexed).
