Submission Deadline Extended — CHCI 2026

Human-Computer Interaction research focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of interactive computing systems that enhance information exchange between humans and computers. Continuous advances in HCI continue to lower the barrier for users and transform computing from a tool for experts into everyday technology for billions of people. HCI plays an increasingly important role in national science and technology strategy, IT innovation, and social-economic development, and is highly valued by both academia and industry.

The 2nd China Conference on Human-Machine Collaborative Computing (HMCC 2026) and the 22nd Harmonious Human-Machine Environment Joint Conference (HHME 2026), jointly comprising CHCI 2026 and PCC 2026, will be held in Changsha, Hunan, China on August 15–17, 2026. The conference is hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF), co-organized by the CCF Technical Committees on HCI, Pervasive Computing, and Collaborative Computing, and locally organized by Hunan University. It provides a premier platform for sharing the latest research, envisioning future HCI trends, and fostering close academia-industry collaboration. Researchers, designers, developers, and practitioners are warmly invited to submit and participate.

To ensure paper quality, the program committee will conduct rigorous peer review. Accepted CHCI 2026 papers will be published in Springer proceedings and indexed by EI. Outstanding papers may be recommended to journals including CCF Transactions on Pervasive Computing and Interaction, Interacting with Computers, Virtual Reality & Intelligent Hardware, Journal of Graphics, and The Innovation Informatics (list to be updated). The conference will also feature exchange forums for recently published top-tier papers and tech demos to promote academic exchange and industry interaction.
